Nothing says winter in Canada more than a visit to the hockey rink. When we visited 8 Rinks in Burnaby, we thought about who might #needalift most and after meeting this self professed “coffeeholic”, our choice was easy.

We love community gardens and in Vancouver, especially East Van, there is no shortage of options. Not only do they contribute to the sustainability of a neighbourhood, but they bring people together to form a collective with similar goals, values, and interests that benefit these neighbourhoods. 

And with Vancouver’s unpredictable weather, we couldn’t think of a better group who might #needalift.

Our love of community is a value that runs deep within our company. Recently, we’ve used our social media channels to find people who might #needalift in their day.
